Nature photographer and storyteller based in New York City

A native New Yorker, I took up nature photography in earnest after retiring from a busy 40-year career as a journalist, health care advocate and policy analyst. There is a surprising amount of wildlife within the city, especially in Central Park and Riverside Park, both close to my home in uptown Manhattan, and in botanical gardens and parks throughout the city. I sometimes venture up the Hudson River and further afield.
